In Kenya, Africa, water doesn't always flow from a spigot.

The fortunate can draw from a well. If a well is too far away, Kenyans will often settle for river water or stagnant pond water. Sometimes cattle are watered in the same holes as household water is drawn from.

In situations such as this, CAM's Water-for-the-World program provides funds to drill wells and install irrigation systems in Haiti, El Salvador, Liberia, Kenya, and other drought-stricken countries.
