Personalize the Scripture
What gently eases my heart away from God?
Do my deeds and speech and life overall promote and nurture spirituality and faithfulness that increases from one generation to another?
Am I able to correctly discern between the Lord's testing and the Lord's wrathful opposition?
When shall I fight for my own deliverance and when shall I wait on God to send someone to deliver me?
Am I supposed to pray for church leaders whose own personal faithfulness keeps me and the rest of the congregation in the way?
Would I allow anyone to exert that kind of influence on me?
Do I?
