This particular version of Mervin Graber’s message was preached at the Shelby County Mennonite Fellowship in Timpson, Texas, on April 15, 2018.
My wife and I have been tremendously blessed and challenged by this message. Sometime I want to include some notes from it here. Meanwhile, I urge — strongly urge — you to listen to it.
If you do listen, please add your observations in the comments below.
I also encourage you to read this related book by John Bevere: The Bait of Satan. Click the link to learn more about the book at my Ain’t Complicated blog.
Well, back to the brother who gave the sermon whose audio I provide above:
December 13, 1959–June 28, 2019
He is survived by his wife Betty Jean Graber as well as their five children and their families. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Ebenezer Amish Mennonite Church of Oskaloosa, Kansas. He was the bishop of the congregation.
Everyone should hear this sermon! I see myself in his words. It opened my eyes in many ways. I don’t usually like to comment, but I wanted you to know your work on this website is vital and important. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to comment…and encourage. I am blessed.
