Prayer Letter Dear brother in Christ, We greet you in the glorious name of our Lord and savior Jesus christ. Dear brother I am so glad that I make known about ministry concerning service of God to you.Having the great burden towards the perishing souls we get involved in outreach Gospel. I am so sad for those individuals who do not choose to believe the obvious physiological truth--that God made man and woman to be loving, life-long partners in the marriage relationship that HE created. The unhealthy homosexual lifestyle, when it becomes acceptable and prevalent in a society, will ultimately destroy that society, as it has in the past. Let us pray diligently for these and other unrepentant sinners, asking the Lord Jesus to help us to be merciful as He.

Yeah well I have one thing to say to you Homosexuals are not bad people you make them out to be the devil's own, which might I add they are not! while the act outside of marriage may be destable just like any other adultary or sin it is still just a character trait that some people have God loves all the people of the world and I dont see how you attacking them is beneficial, an analogy for you if all the people of the earth where homosexual and God taught for homosexuality then would you condem heterosexuals? People are to be loved not scorned

I think that from what I can read that the Anabaptist have sound doctrine. I am Primitive Baptist...which from what I can read..and from what I have studied..we are the same. All of us were the original church that Christ set up. Yall took the name anabaptist during the reformation...we took the name Primitive Baptist when we got here in america. I would like to know where yall stand on predestination because thats the only thing I couldn't rightly decifer from your website. So any anabaptists that read this if they could please send me some email i would grately appreciate it. And I thank you for claiming and upholding the TRUTH which is God's word and not the watered down...REFORMED stuff that is permiating into our churches these days like homosexuality in the Episcapal churches, and all manners of the devil's wiles. Thank you.

Your site is pretty good, however, you could hardly be more wrong on your position with regards to Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage. The prevailing modern day Anabaptist-Mennonite position is inconsistent with both the early church position (1st & 2nd century) as well as the reformation-era anabaptist position (not to mention it is inconsistent with very plain New Testament scriptures). I would like to refer you to an excellent Anabaptist site which also has a link to an essay by Mark Bullen explaining why the modern-day anabaptist are simply wrong and why the original anabaptist position (the same position that Menno Simon held!) is scriptural. The site is www.thefaithoncedelivered.info. I would appreciate any comments or feedback. In Christ, Jason

I appreciated your page on homosexuality. The point I have tried to get across to several of the people who go to college with me is that sexuality is intended to be enjoyed w/in a marriage... and homosexuals can't get married... and it wasn't an arbitrary choice... so there was a reason. I don't see premarital or extramarital heterosexual sex as any less sinful... which makes me even less popular :P

Been using Rod and Staff for several years to teach my children(and myself!).I am having a hard time with the teaching in our Baptist church that children should be evangelized at the earliest possible age, and it is awkward for my young children who have not been baptized to be offered the bread and cup at communion. I appreciate the good teaching I have found in Anabaptist material. I am glad to find a web site where I can receive encouragement.:) I hope to return soon.

Living among many mennonite, amish and other anabaptists in Lancaster County I recently came across one that perplexed me. I seen a family from illinois dressed in plain very conservative clothes with purple/blue cone shaped head scarfs. A women with them had on a black one. The one man with them had a straw hat on with a black band and the top was pinched in like a western style hat. Friends said they were from an anabaptist sect in illinois. Anyone have an idea of who/what they are???? Just curious.

i happened to come across ur page and i have to say that i believe you are completely wrong. Why does God allow children to be born to parents who abuse them or abandon them? Why does God allow millions of children to be in foster care? Why does God allow children with HIV and minority children and older children, who the typical affluent, white couple does not wish to adopt, live their lives feeling abandoned? Just as there are so many children without parents for so many reasons, here then are couples (homosexual) who cannot have children and can adopt these children. It creates equalibrium. I know of a few gay couples who have adopted kids(minority, not a baby, numerous reasons) that no white couple wanted and another who have adopted numerous children of all nationalities who have HIV. So just as there are children w/o parents who need parents, there are parents w/o children, who want children. And then there are the children that no "heterosexual, christain, god loving" couple wants b/c they want a nice little white ,healthy baby (generally speaking). Also, why is the Bible against homosexuality? B/c it is a STORY. It was written by men. That's why. It is not some mythical magical word of God. It is a story. It's just a book. God is in one's heart, not in a book or a building. Who are YOU to tell someone else how to live their life? Who are YOU to tell someone what God wants? Who are YOU to judge? Just let people live their lives and let people be happy. Everybody hurts someone at some time or another, unfortunately sometimes it is intentional, and other times it is not intentional. And God (whatever He/She/It is) will handle it. And everyone must answer to the God in their hearts at some point. No one needs to answer to YOU.

Hey, brothers and sisters, earlier this week I purchased the English Standard Version(ESV), I have never read a english translation of God's Holy Word that is literal and yet so clear and up to date. Unfortunately they don't use brother Maurice A. Robinson's Byzantine NT Textform for their greek text, but I would still highly recommend this translation. You can read about this new translation on www.GoodNewsPublishers.org. Brother Leland M. Haines told me that brother Maurice is working on a translation right now that uses his Byzantine NT Textform, I can't wait until it's finished! So, be looking out for it. Grace, Peace, and Love. For all my Anabaptist-Mennonite(conservative) brothers and sisters who have noticed that some words and verses are omitted from the NASB, NIV, NLT,and NRSV and they like the KJV, then you will love the New King James Version, it is an extremely accurate update of the honored King James Version!

Yesterday I mentioned Jay P. Green's Literal Translation of the Holy Bible, but today I discovered that I was wrong, it is not more literal than the New American Standard Bible Undated Edition, and in my opinion nor is it better, so please brothers and sisters forgive me for my error. I do believe however that the Greek Text behind the NASB and the NIV, i.e. Nestle-Aland's 27th edition and the United Bible Society's 4th edition are fairly good, but the best Greek Text is Maurice A. Robinson's Majority Text. Bro. Leland M. Haines of www.bibleviews.com agrees with me about the Robinson's MT.

I just discovered a great translation of the bible called the Literal Translation of the Holy Bible by Jay P. Green. It uses the Masoretic Text for the OT and the Textus Receptus for the NT. It is even more literal than the New American Standard Bible and yet it is still readable. You can read the entire bible online at www.litvonline.com and you can order it online at www.sovgracepub.com Grace & Peace Andy

I think most christian religion is oppressive and close minded. I have done a great deal of research on religion,(hence me being a college student) and I have decided that true religions are accepting,(such as same sex marriage and other differences)tolerant, and open-minded. Christianity is none of this.

I have added the Martyr's Mirror to my clergy crime site. The Protestant reformers were all frauds! Christians do not persecute, torture and murder fellow human beings. The anabaptists suffered horribly at the hands of the vicious protestants. It is beyond elief how anyone could actually believe that Martin Luther and his henchmen were christians. They were brutal murderers!

Are you people completely ridiculous? Was the reformation completely pointless? Have you learned anything? You still cling to the same ridiculous ideas that have plagued Christianity for 2,000 years. Wasn't it Jesus who said "If you want to enter into life, Keep the commandments" Or in 1john we read "This is how we know him. that we keep his commandments" Even revelation 12:17 which says "The dragon made war with those who hold the testimony of Jesus Christ, and keep the commandments of God." How much clearer can it be? How can you deny those verses as being 'legalistic' when in reality their the TRUTH. You isolate verses and don't give the complete context. Look at both sides, the ones which advocate commmandment keeping, and the ones which don't.

It was great to find a Mennonite site that hasn't compromised on important Biblical issues. I grew up in the "Modern" Mennonite church, and my family goes right back to Swiss and German Anabaptists on both sides of my family. I have such a strong sense of connection to the Mennonite community but I began going to a different evangelical church when after I was baptized because of the disregard for Biblical Doctrine I encountered in the "Modern" churches. I now fellowship with a Brethren group whose beliefs are virtually identical as those of the conservative Mennonites. In other words, we believe the New Testament is the literal way the church is to function. Thank you for your site and God Bless.
