Dear Christians,I have a life long friend that hurt his back about three months ago. He has gone to several Doctors that have told him that he can not lift more than 25lbs at one time.George is in the Grocery Business in the produce dept and has been most of his life, this requires a lot of heavy lifting. George has three wonderfull children and a loving wife she has been working double shifts trying to get the bill's paid, but she doesn't make enough to cover them since George has been out of work. George has been to the Social Security dept, Gov, State, but they will not help him financialy. George is a fine hard working kind man that would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. What I am asking you my fellow Christians is for a small fincial gift if you could. It would be greatly appreciated by George and his family. If you can do this please send it to George Ray, 869, Rostock Circle,N.W.Palm Bay, Fl.32907. Looking for publishers to send an article to, found your website. We chose to use Anabaptist when our Asembly--Sovereign Grace Assembly, Anabaptist--was organised, to differentiate from all the "Baptist" groups out there who have torn down the old Landmarks and cast them aside and who have "bowed the knee". We prefer the correct translation of "Ekklesia", Assembly, rather than church. The Bible is our sole rule of faith and practise. We believe: the Lord estabalished His Assembly when He was upon this earth; that the Father chose a certain number before the foundation of the world for whom our Lord died and arose for our justification; in the Priesthood in the Assembly; in head covering and women silent in the Assembly. The only holidays we observe are National holidays. This is only a start of what we believe. Your website is interesting. Mandi Lawson

I enjoy visiting your site. There is no Anabaptist church close to us. Your site helps incourage us. It gets rather lonley and discouraging being the only family in our area that adhears to the Anabaptist beliefs(plain dress, headcovering, simple living, etc.). At times do I not only feel seperated from the world, I feel alone in my seperation. And then, God always brings light and joy into my life. I will continue to honor Him and be faithful to His Word, no matter the cost.

Greetings, I am a theology student with the United Church of Canada. I have a parent(father)who is of a Mennonite Background. My maiden name is Dick originally spelled Dueck and possibly van Dueck and has undergone many changes form one generation to another. My great great grandparents came from an area of Russia that I believe is called Malatoschna(sp) and settled in southern Manitoba, Canada. I have always been intersted in my backgournd both historically and religiously. Thanks for a great site. If anyone can offer a place to search out my family tree I would really appreciate a reply. Shalom, Melanie Kauppila

I was homeschooled using Christian Liberty materials. In some grades they filled in with Rod and Staff materials. Even as a student I was impressed with the quality and constant focus on God. I have met a young mother in the military who has recently become convicted that being out of the home is wrong. She would like to start homeschooling but is unsure where to start. I will recomend this curriculim to her mostly because of it's God honoring content, but also because I feel it can also aid her in her and her husband in their own development. (I have not met him as the military has split the family for its own convenience)

This site and information is really interesting. It certianly has given me something to think about. I rember going to grade school with mennonite children. I was always afraid to ask about it. I didn't want to pry. I go to Church of God, Anderson Indiana but I've always thought about the head covering and why so few churches do this when the bible says to.

I plan to work a part-time job, but my car van-1971 Chevy van broke down, so I live on a limited SS disability income. I wish to get out and live closer to a Conservative Church so I can work for someone who is a Conservative Mennonite that runs a business or on a farm/ or something else like that.
